Well 6507/3-12 on the Mim fault block prospect had primary objectives in Middle Jurassic sandstone with a secondary target in a possible sand wedge in the Early Cretaceous Lysing Formation. The well found a thin Late Cretaceous sand to be gas-bearing while the Jurassic reservoirs contained waters. The 6507/3-12 A sidetrack was drilled to appraise the gas discovery but was abandoned for technical reasons.
