The southern part of the Central Graben area, from the southeast corner of UK Quadrant 22 south into the Danish sector (Quadrants 5504 and 5604), includes several deep Jurassic half-grabens where high and ultra-high temperature/pressure regimes prevail. Within these depocentres, including the East Forties Basin, Breiflab Basin, Feda Graben and Tail End Graben, Middle and Upper Jurassic, Triassic and Palaeozoic reservoirs lie at depths exceeding 5,000 m, with the base Upper Jurassic reaching in excess of 8,000 m in the Breiflab Basin and Tail End Graben .
