Exploration well on Snømus prospect with Ula Sandstone primary objective on north flank of east-west trending Zechstein salt swell within Middle/Upper Jurassic mini-basin. Dip-closure to north and reservoir down-thrown along structural axis of salt swell up-dip to south. Ula Sandstone at 2,903 m with three stacked sand units. Top Sandnes siltstones at 2,985 m with sandstones in lower part over Skagerrak at 3,097 m. Ula/Sandnes 194 m gross with 155 m net good quality sandstone. Skagerrak 45 m net poor quality reservoir. Weak oil shows in Ula, Sandnes and Skagerrak sandstones; all were water-wet.
