Two appraisals of the Verdandi, Grid and Heimdal sand oil and gas discovery and the Lille Prinsen discovery with oil in sandstones of Jurassic age and Zechstein dolomites. Well 16/1-34 S had a 7 m oil column in 50 m of good quality sandstone in the Heimdal. Well 16/1-34 A had an oil column of about 66 m, of which 46 m comprised Zechstein dolomite with good reservoir quality. In addition, around 20 m of oil were present in poor quality basement rock.
